International Conference on Photonics in Switching & 10th Conference on Optical Internet

PS/COIN 2011 has been cancelled

Developing optical subsystems, optical processors and novel integrated circuit requires proper balancing of photonic and electronic technologies. Optical infrastructures will leverage the opportunities offered by photonics to answer the emerging needs of the next decades such as the realization of all-optical network and computing elements, the reduction of network power consumption and device footprint by integration.

Consecutively to the earthquake and tsunami that struck the pacific coast of Tohoku (north-eastern) Japan on March 11, 2011, PS/COIN 2011 Organizing Committee has decided to cancel the International Conference on Photonics in Switching 2011 (PS2011) and International Conference on Optical Internet 2011 (COIN2011) that were previously scheduled in Osaka (Japan) on July 12 - 15, 2011
